Today, on 14 August 2016, we would like to remember that on 22 June we published a picture of the first trucks with cork, which comes into our yard. (Photo 1)
Yesterday afternoon we were able to watch as the last truck with cork for this year was unloaded. (Photos 2 and 3) We have stored about 80 % of cork more than the previous year. With the quality, we are very satisfied.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff for their cooperation and efforts in this so hard work. We also thank the transport companies we have worked with and of course our suppliers for the kindness with which they let us do our job in their farms, separating the different types of cork.
And, of course, we celebrate that after 53 days we have not had any work-related accidents or any other type.
Finally we show you how our yard end up, after receiving the harvest of 2016, which, with total security, will give us wonderful 25 million of cork stoppers in 2018. (Photo 4)
