On Wednesday, March 5, we had the honor of welcoming Patricia Franco, the Regional Minister for Economy, Business, and Employment, along with Marta Roldán, the General Director of Vocational Education and Training, and Agustín Espinosa, the Provincial Delegate for Economy, Business, and Employment, to our facilities.
This is not the first time the Minister has visited Gruart La Mancha; 9 years ago, she accompanied us on an official visit together with the President of the Region, reflecting the ongoing support for the cork industry.
During this new visit, we addressed the sector’s challenges, particularly regarding professional training and qualification, a key area to ensure generational change and maintain the high standards of quality and innovation that define us. At the end of the visit, a working meeting took place at our facilities, where the General Director committed to taking the necessary steps to enable the offering of specific courses on cork and cork stoppers in our city, allowing us to improve and expand our workforce without the risk of not securing specialized labor. We would like to express our gratitude to the Minister and her team for their efforts.
We continue working to ensure that the cork stopper remains synonymous with excellence, guaranteeing the perfect closure of wines.
