A team of the program ‘Ancha es Castilla-La Mancha Televisión’, of Castilla-La Mancha Television has moved to Valdepeñas in order to record the process of manufacturing of cork stoppers, once the cork harvest period has finished this year, in the facilities of Gruart La Mancha.
The reporter Kiko Fernández has participated, in a very graphic and summarized way, in the process of storing of the cork in our yard and the steps until the cork stoppers – in this case of the Italian winery Oddero – are prepared before the shipping.
With the help of our CEO, Francisco González, and the Head of Laboratory, Noelia López Vázquez, the people from Castilian-La Mancha, and all those who visit us these days have been able to learn more about our unique and laborious manufacturing process, always with the quality and safety on the horizon for all the wines we cork, just in a moment when we are punching cork stoppers in three shifts to guarantee that we will have enough cork stoppers in the end of 2017 and in the year 2018.
