At the kind invitation of the JCCM, our CEO, Mr. González and our technical director, Mr. Amador, attended yesterday the 2024 Environment Awards ceremony, which was held in the magnificent facilities of the Paleontological Museum of Cuenca.
At the event, chaired by the President of the Regional Government, Mr. Emiliano García Page and the Regional Minister of Sustainable Development, Mrs. Mercedes Gómez Rodríguez, they made very clear the intention of their government regarding the interest that Castilla la Mancha has in everything related to the Environment and Sustainable Development.
After an extensive speech on the subject that both of them gave us, in their individual capacity, we were fully satisfied, because, to a large extent, it benefits our company, by demonstrating our conviction for the defense of the environment and, in addition, that our raw material must be protected, in general terms throughout the national territory and in particular in Castilla la Mancha, as it is a cork-producing region.
