Harvest 2015

As usual in our company, the month of June is a very hectic month. On the one hand the first cork, which arrived at the factory the previous year, begins to be processed. And, on the other hand, it begins the reception of the cork from the present harvest.

In the photo No. 1, a “stack” in perfect condition, after a year of drying in our yard.

In the photo No. 2 we see how a stack is dismantled for the first cooking.

In the photo No. 3, the first lorry with cork, that arrives in this year. The origin of the cork is Sierra de San Pedro (Cáceres) and it was extracted between 3^rd and 4^th June and it arrived at GLM on Saturday 6^th June.

In the photo No. 4, the cork is in the yard, ready to be placed in stacks on Monday 8^th June.
