In the approach to new Technologies we are performing during last months, we have discovered a fast, easy way to keep our customers properly informed with no need for them to be always looking within the Blog for changes. That mechanism is called RSS.
Indeed, this symbol we can see at any news site (and some other ones) refers to an alternative for notifying news to users interested in those specific issues.
In our case and for our customers’ convenience, we also bear this RSS service that allows subscribing to BloGLM and being notified in any of the following situations:
A new post had been published.
Either a new post had been published or a new comment had been leaved regarding a previously published post.
Setting up this service is so simple. All you need to do is clicking on a specific RSS service of the right-side column of BloGLM, then a pull down menu will be displayed offering some different ways to display future news. Our tip: configure your RSS module within a configurable site like iGoogle or MyYahoo that allow set them as your Internet homepage (apart from BloGLM RSS, you will be able to include some other elements like wheather forecast, press modules and so on). Nevertheless, if you click on the last option of the pull down menu, your notifications will be displayed from now on within your favourites menu bar inside your Web browser.
