THE REAL DIFFERENCES

In fact, we put a lot of effort trying to demonstrate the security provided by our stoppers, as a difference with other manufacturers, in our manufacturing process and traceability control, but just a few times we include in these differences those that come given “by heaven”. To be more accurate, through our region’s weather.

LEVEL OF RAINFALL AND HUMIDITY: (From January, 1 to August, 17,  192,2 mm. and annual average not over 50%). These such low parameters let us have the cork in  the courtyard for a year, with total guarantee and security, with no risk and, among others already known advantages, to get, in this time and with these weather conditions, to remove the pyrazines. RISKLESS STORAGE: For the said reasons, the storage of the cork, after the first boiling and the planks selection, will be free of risk of microbial contamination due to the low humidity level. (Picture 2)

NATURAL DRYING, NEARLY PERFECT: Safe, natural and cheap. The knowledge of how to treat  better our raw material let us, working in 3 shifts in July and August, may guarantee the natural drying of the stoppers recently punched in the maximum time of 48 hours in the courtyard.

Courtyard controlled by a blazing sun that will accompany us at least for one hundred days, with no rain, in a very very low humidity and with maximum temperatures from 37 to 45º. That let us, and guarantees, that for October we would have correctly storaged the stoppers for the next year. (Picture 3)

CREDIBILITY: We continue thinking that good part of our credibility in the market is given by our openness. Not having secrets and say were our “helps” are, we consider it a contribution to the sector.
