INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION
Some days ago we had a request to show Prof. Dr. Osmar Tatar, Izmir Provincial Director of Environment and Forestry, and his team our factory. He was interested in knowing the whole manufacturing process of the cork stoppers in situ. Our approval was communicated through some common friends informing him that we had not any problem to show the process where he would be able to check the trazability control that we are making. Of course we were very pleased with this visit.
As per his comments, the visit has fulfilled his expectations and he thinks that in the future it will be possible to manufacture the cork stoppers on his country because, though there is not still a lot of raw material, he enjoyed the visit and when he wants to know in detail our sector and to check where the environment is better protected and where we try to drink more wine with cork stoppers, we’ll be opened.
